WHAT is salal?
The "Society for the Advancement of Local Arts and Literature" was started by a small consortium of independent musicians, actors, dancers, and authors in Southern Arizona. The group remained defunct for some-time before being resurrected in Oregon in the summer of 2014.
SALAL seeks to be a place where artists can communicate and collaborate across artistic mediums and share a sense of mutual support.

Institutional Members are organizations who are committed to the SALAL vision and charter. These are groups and businesses who are committed to fostering and developing unique local arts to the community in which they operate.
